Our Story
A Campground Built by People Who Actually Camp
Pigeoncity Campground was founded on a simple conviction: the best outdoor experiences come from knowing what matters. After years of pitching tents in crowded, poorly maintained sites, our founders decided to build something better — right here in Reno.
Located just off Jay One Rd, our campground sits at the crossroads of Northern Nevada's most iconic outdoor destinations. Whether you're using us as a launch point for Lake Tahoe, heading into the Sierra Nevada for backcountry access, or simply looking for a quiet place to disconnect, Pigeoncity is designed for the way you actually want to experience the outdoors.
We manage every site personally. That means clean facilities, well-maintained grounds, and a community of campers who respect the land and each other.

Thoughtfully equipped sites for RVs, tents, and everything in between. No hidden fees, no guesswork.
RV Sites
Full-hookup sites accommodating rigs up to 40 feet with 50-amp service, water, and sewer connections.
Tent Sites
Spacious, level tent pads surrounded by native vegetation. Each site includes a fire ring and picnic table.
Clean Restrooms
Modern, well-maintained restroom and shower facilities with hot water, kept clean daily by our on-site team.
Wi-Fi & Common Area
Reliable Wi-Fi in the lodge and common areas. Community kitchen, fire pit, and lounge space for guests.
Trail Access
Direct access to hiking and biking trails. We provide trail maps, gear recommendations, and route planning.
Pet-Friendly
Dogs welcome on select sites. Nearby walking trails and open areas. Pet waste stations throughout the property.
